Sleep is something we take for granted until we can’t do it.

Sleep, often overlooked until elusive, is the cornerstone of our well-being, intricately linked to a myriad of health outcomes. The ripple effects of poor sleep extend far beyond mere tiredness, impacting virtually every aspect of our mental and physical health. It dims our mood, hampers memory, clouds judgment, and saps energy, undermining our ability to learn, make decisions, and stay motivated. Beyond these immediate impacts, chronic sleep deprivation lays the groundwork for more severe health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's disease. It disrupts hormone regulation and immunity, making us more susceptible to illness. A lack of sleep can skew our behaviour, driving us towards impulsivity and irrationality, highlighting the profound importance of prioritising sleep for our overall health and quality of life.

How it works…

We utilise cutting-edge research in neuroscience and psychology, along with methods informed by CBTI, to assist in establishing a healthy sleep pattern for you. CBTI is considered the primary treatment for insomnia in global clinical recommendations, showcasing its effectiveness across various clinical groups.

You’ll receive a 50 minute consultation (either online or in person) where we’ll really dig deep to find out what’s going wrong with your sleep. We’ll address as many issues as we can in the session, equipping you with a range of tools. After your session, you’ll recieve a bespoke sleep plan. You’ll also have access to your therapist via email or WhatsApp to support you as you improve your sleep.

From time to time, some deep rooted issues are found as the cause of a persons insomnia, which may take more than one session to work through. In these cases, we offer a reduced rate for any subsequent sessions required.

Whether you can’t get to sleep, wake frequently in the night or never feel refreshed after sleep, we can help you find restful sleep again.

No pills. Just science.
